Compost can be derived from many sources all having the same purpose of providing a source of organic matter and nutrients that improve soil structure and nourish plants. Animal manure, leafs, mushroom residue and treated municipal waste are all common materials used for composting.

Leaf Compost : Just as it sounds, This is finely ground and composted leaves and small twigs. This material is not extremely high in nutrient value but provides a very good source of organic matter. Nature's way of recycling.

Mushroom Compost is the remaining residue after the mushrooms have been harvested. It is a combination of poultry manure, peat moss, cottonseed hulls, lime and other materials that provide minerals and nutrients that improve the quality of soils and planting beds. Moisture retention capabilities and soil structure are also improved.
